Morrigan Wrap Dress - Sea Kelp

Love everything about this dress, the fit, design, length, and softness, can't go wrong with this easy everyday piece

I ordered this in a medium. I’m 5’7” and 145-ish pounds; I have no idea what my bust measurements are, but maybe like a 32 or 34 C these days. I wear a small in most mainstream branded items.

The print, colors, and fabric are all 5/5 stars. The weight and drape of the dress are fantastic, and I really appreciate the lined bodice.

I feel like the neckline could be a tiny bit higher, I kept feeling like I needed to tuck the edge of my bra in. However, my boobs got their first ever compliment while wearing this dress, and the wrap design did hug the curves nicely. My only true gripe is that I wish the overlap on the skirt was a little wider. I take long steps and even with the inner tie, I was flapping open a little more in the breeze than I wanted to. Overall it’s a minor gripe, as the dress definitely looks and feels amazing.

WRAPPED IN THE SEA! A wrap dress of epic proportions. Fits like a dream with elegant details of gathered shoulders and closures. Perfect smoothing fabric with excellent drape and wonderful sea inspired colors. The feeling is beautiful and naturally flowing. WOW.

I knew I was going to love this dress when I saw it, but it somehow exceeded my expectations. The material is nice a thick, but feels breathable and has a lovely feel. The measurements hit just right for a maxi for me and doesn’t drag on the ground (5’4” for reference), sleeves hit just right. It’s a little lower cut than I expected (and should have expected based on the pictures) so I’ll have to wear some sort of base layer under to wear it to work. Overall it is beautiful and I feel like a forest witch in it.

I had to size up two sizes compared to anywhere else I shop and the bust is still so small. No matter how tight the dress is wrapped it’s still gaping but then has so much room in the shoulders. However this dress is so beautiful and flattering otherwise. I love it enough to try and have some alterations made so the bust will stay closed more. This pattern is beautiful and I love the little pop of persimmon orange. So it is a frustrating purchase but is worth it.
